The design was guided by the disability community incorporating direct feedback from a design panel of people with a wide range of disabilities and accessibility considerations, especially with input from individuals with disabilities affecting grip, dexterity and hand control.

In the context of this design and realms of disability discourse,“adaptive”refers to anything that is modified, designed, or used to support a person in doing tasks in a way that works for their abilities. It’s about function, access, and participation — not “fixing” the person.
